Emergency Weather Radio lets you browse NOAA Weather Radio transmitter information and listen to volunteer-hosted online audio streams. This app is not affiliated with NOAA or the National Weather Service.
Location (optional): If you allow location access, the app uses your device location only on your device to suggest the nearest NOAA transmitter. Location is not sent to our servers.
Purchase status: Google Play processes the one-time lifetime unlock purchase. We store only whether the app is licensed on your device.
Favorites and trial: Saved locally on your device.
Audio streams are provided by independent volunteers (for example via noaaweatherradio.org / wxradio.org). When you play a station, your device connects directly to those stream providers. We do not operate those servers.
Google Play handles payments for the lifetime unlock.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not operate a backend that collects user accounts or listening history.
The app is intended for a general audience. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Internet audio streams may be delayed or unavailable. This app is not a substitute for a dedicated NOAA Weather Radio receiver with battery backup for life-safety alerts.
